Information you provide

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, area of interest and message, and optionally your company or organization. We use this information to respond and to manage the conversation that follows. Please avoid including passwords, private keys, payment details or other sensitive information in a message.

Website operation

The website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Fonts and illustrations are served with the website. Our hosting provider may process standard connection information, including IP addresses and request logs, to serve and protect the site.

The contact service uses short-lived rate-limit records to protect against spam. These contain a one-way identifier derived from an IP address and submission timestamps, rather than the text of your message.

Email and service providers

Submitted enquiries are passed to the website’s email delivery service and NIVOBYTE’s enquiry mailbox at notifications@nanch.net. Hosting and email providers process information as needed to provide those services. An email link opens your email application, whose handling of information is governed by its own settings and terms.

Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe to the journal, we use your email address to send a confirmation request. Your subscription becomes active only after you confirm it. The subscription service stores your email address, subscription status and relevant timestamps in private storage. Pending confirmation links expire after 48 hours. A subscription management link is provided in the confirmation message, and you may also email us to request removal.

External links

The directions link opens Google Maps in a new tab. No map is loaded automatically on this website. Following an external link connects your browser to that service. External websites, including NanoChain and Google Maps, have their own privacy practices.

Retention and requests

We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage the resulting relationship, and where a longer period is required for a specific obligation. You can contact us to ask about the information you have provided, request a correction or request deletion where applicable.
